Privacy policy

• Room photos you choose to restyle. Each photo is uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed to create your result, and deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
• An anonymous install ID, created automatically, so free credits and purchases work without an account.
• Your credit balance and purchase status, so we know how many makeovers you have left.
• Crash reports and basic, non-identifying usage events (for example, “a makeover finished”) that help us fix bugs.
• A device integrity check from Google Play, used to prevent abuse of the free tier.

Your original photos, your results, and your history are stored on your device. We don’t keep copies of your results.

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your contacts, location, or other photos in your gallery
• Payment card details, which Google Play handles directly

A photo is used for one thing only: creating the makeover you asked for. It is never used to train or improve AI models, never sold, and never shown to anyone else.

We use a small number of service providers who process data only on our behalf and only for the purposes above:

• Google Cloud and Firebase for hosting, anonymous sign-in, crash reporting and analytics
• An AI image-generation provider that processes your photo to create the result
• Google Play and RevenueCat to process and verify purchases

Roomshift does not show ads and does not share data with advertisers.

• Uploaded photos: deleted within 24 hours
• Anonymous ID and credit ledger: kept while you use the app, deleted on request
• Crash and usage data: kept for up to 90 days

You can delete your history on the device and your server-side data at any time. See the data deletion page for the exact steps.

Roomshift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above, and note material changes in the app.
